The Bon Jovi Experience was fantastic, the theatre was a buzz with the audience having a really good time, making The Bon Jovi Experience one of the best tribute shows I’ve ever seen!
My husband is a huge Bon Jovi fan and this was right up his street, we were all on our feet the whole night dancing and shouting, it was tremendous fun.
Tony the lead singer was fantastic, every move he made and every note he sang was like watching Jon Bon Jovi himself, we were not disappointed one bit. His voice wasn’t exactly like Jon Bon Jovi, but it was extremely close. I have to say though when I heard Jon Bon Jovi sing live on one of my hubby’s CDs for the first time the man himself didn’t sound like Bon Jovi to me :-) My hubby kept asking who do you think it is singing “I know it’s a Bon Jovi song,” I said “but I don’t have a clue who’s singing” :-)
Tony was an excellent tribute to Bon Jovi, even my ears couldn’t tell the difference between the two, he even hit the hard notes with no problems at all, he nailed every movement of the Jovi. Brilliantly and I loved every minute of his performance.
The lead guitarist Edd was very good, easily as good as Richie Sambora and I was surprised to read that Edd is a self taught musician, he didn’t sing though, so don’t know if his voice is as good as Richie’s: my hubby has Richie Samboras solo album at home, so in the band Jon Bon Jovi isn’t the only one who can sing. The Bon Jovi Experience band members did do the backing vocals really well.
Johnny is a fantastic drummer, I was banging my foot on the floor all night along with the drum beat :-)
Each of the band members in The Bon Jovi Experience takes on the persona of the original Bon Jovi band members and they are all exceptional.
The Bon Jovi Experience Video
Every song that was sang was the Best of Bon Jovi, all were body rocking fun, not one was slow which meant all night long we got to dance. We weren’t the only ones dancing, about 3/4s of the audience, particularly in the second half was on their feet dancing and shouting, the show was electric which was quite a surprise as the Embassy wasn’t close to full (less than half capacity). I can only imagine what it would be like with a crowded venue, more people in an audience, more they play off one another’s enjoyment.
After The Bon Jovi Experience show my face was bright red and I was sweating profusely, but it felt wonderful :-) we left the Embassy theatre very animated and talked about how much fun we had all the way home.
The Embassy had about 400 people in for The Bon Jovi Experience and this can spell trouble for the performers on stage. Normally with few in the audience it can mean people are more reluctant to kick back and fully enjoy the show, not everyone is like me up on their feet from song one :-)
The Bon Jovi Experience had no problem helping people to relax and get into the show. My husband noticed that the format The Bon Jovi Experience used was like an actual live concert Bon Jovi have done in the past or at least all the good bits from all the live performances that Jon Bon Jovi have done (they have clearly done a lot of research and practicing).
The fact that they followed an actual live concert meant it was a perfect replica of a Bon Jovi show, it real did feel like a real Bon Jovi concert and although there was only around 400 people in the audience almost all of them threw themselves into the experience, so the Embassy felt like the place was full. It was one of the loudest crowds we have ever heard at the Skegness Embassy theatre and we’ve seen it full.
Lots of fun, my youngest son was jumping and dancing all night even my 18 year old (home for the weekend from University) was on his feet and your lucky to see him move at all most days!! My hubby had the biggest smile on his face, we all threw ourselves into the show 100%.
I love the way the band got the audience to warm up there voices with nah nah na’s and follow the leader type activities which gave the show an authentic concert feel and I really liked it when the women in the audience won the men for being the loudest at yelling. Way to go girls, we rocked compared to the fellas :-)
With great songs all night like : Bed of Roses, It’s My Life, Born to be My Baby, Runaway, Always, Shot through the Heart, Wanted Dead or Alive, Bad Medicine, I’d Die For You. Keep the Faith, Lulu’s Shout and everyones all time favourite Living on a Prayer.
The Bon Jovi Experience is truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. If you’ve seen The Bon Jovi Experience, feel free to make a comment below.

My wife and I took some freinds to the skye restaurant in Peoria on saturday and we have both seen alot of tribute bands. This by far was the best I had ever seen. They were amazing!!!!! Why pay 125.00 a seat and sit in the rafters when we were about 30 feet from the stage.. Its a no brainer!!!! I hope Terry davies brings them back to the skye, because I know I will be there!
Hi just a quick message to say you were amazing last night at Shrewsbury. After seeing Bon jovi live many times i wasn’t sure what to expect as this was the first time i had seen you but i wasn’t disappointed your performance was absolutely brilliant, my friend and i were that impressed we have booked front row seats to see you at Telford in September, thanks again for a fantastic evening and look forward to seeing you in September. If you take requests would you do Superman tonight please xxxx
Hey Tony just to say that i absolutely enjoyed you at the Severn Theater Shrewsbury in April you were amazing. No wonder Bon Jovi asked you to perform with him. May i say that your Richy was as good as Jon`s . Please come back to Shrewsbury in 2012 and if you do can i request Have a nice day and I`ll be there for you. Thank you for entertaining me and “Have A Nice Day”.
Not wishing to be critical of the group’s performance which was fine BUT recently saw this group in Brecon and I am not alone in my following comments. The audio was dreadful, they should fire their sound engineer. Professionally the group were good but it was far too loud in so much the band members musical talents including the singers were lost in a loud noise.
Almost all those who saw them said the same. Such a shame as it spoilt a good night. One girl I know went home as she could not stick the noise, it was so loud. It sounded as though all the music and singing came out of one loud speaker, any individuality was lost.
Sorry guys but someone has to tell you, get this sorted and you will be fine.
so, you think they are crap because its too noisy ha ha ha ha ha!! that is the funniest thing ive ever heard. ITS A ROCK GIG!!! its supposed to be loud, and if it wasnt i’d be complaining!
I agree why go to see a Rock Band if you cant stand the noise ? I dont get it .
these guy’s rock .
Rock or not, whatever the gig, if the sound isn’t balanced and you can’t hear the vocals sack the sound person!!! No excuse. Quality is lost if the levels aren’t balanced well and it does become noise. Been there… ruined it.
Even Bon Jovi trashed the opener at Milton Keynes bowl years back, but the sound engineers got it balanced and sorted.
Good quality sound can make or break a gig, definitely.
I agree whole heartedly with the above comment. Been to see this band in Nuneaton tonight, & it was the same issue the poster experienced. Lead microphone was set far too low, he could hardly be heard at all over the instruments, infact the drummers harmonies were above the lead ! We left after 30 mins it was that bad. Couldn’t tell you if vocally they sounded like Bon Jovi as the lead was too low in relation to the instruments. Definitely not worth the £10 ticket price.
We went to see them again this year at the Embassy in Skegness and they were even better than last year.
Absolutely love these guys and I can’t toot their horn enough.
I wrote an article on my happy blog about it here at http://www.chileblogs.com/bon-jovi-experience-bon-jovi-tribute-band-review-2011
The bands is a must see for anyone into a good night out, great way to let your hair down and embrace your inner Rock Chic, even you fellers, you know you have one in their some where :).
Bon Jovi Experience will be coming back to Skegness to perform June 1st 2012.
I can’t wait :)
i met the guys at the bon jovi concert at old trafford in june 2011 great bunch,we went to see them play at st helens theatre royal and was amazed at how close they are to the real thing ,superb performance cant wait for the next one xxx
i saw this band on thursday at falmouth and along with other people we were very disapointted he spent more time getting the crowd to sing and did not keep t flowing and i what to see the band playing and singing not the crowd will not go again and will tell people what i think if asked
I would agree with an earlier comment that he needs to stick to the singing. The accent is awful and constantly asking for audience participation is extremely annoying. You pay for tickets to hear the band, not the person sitting next to you screaming. The singing was excellent, but the whole experience was spoiled because of it. There was a couple sitting in front of us walked out after 20 minutes.
My friend and I have seen this band twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it. The first time was in Doncaster, the second at the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield (24th Feb 2012). At Chesterfield we were originally in the balcony but soon moved downstairs as they had kept the floor clear so everyone could dance. Brilliant night both times!!
I’ll want to know if they ever make it over to New Zealand to play, as I’ll be there for sure. In case your reading this guys, there’s a fabulous open air theatre at Caroline Bay, Timaru.
I have been a jovi girl since 83 and have been to watch them live 10 times golden circle!!! And this tribute band is so close to the real thing it’s unbelievable. I first watched tony and the boys in my home town of Sthelens (I jumped on stage and kissed him, ha) and then last night in Liverpool, I was front row and seeing tony up close was amazingly spooky to see how much he looks like Jon!! I just can’t wait to see then again. These guys are fantastic!!!! I danced all night long and when I got home I threw on some more Bon jovi tunes and rocked in my living room till the very early hours
thanks lads great night last night customs house south shields .best tribute band that we have seen by far we rocked the night away thanks again just like the real thing ……………….
This is the 3rd time my husband and myself have been to one of the concerts and the band just get better and better ! I m sure everyone in the Garrick Theatre Lichfield on 14th Feb enjoyed every minute too as we were all up and dancing and singing along . Can t wait until the band are back again in our area .
Jon Bon Jovi came from New Jersey I believe… This guy sounded like Dick Van Dyke. Spent more time trying to get the audience to sing that do it himself especially on Living on a Prayer… If you can’t sing the song don’t do it. So many backing tapes and effects for the guitar etc… It would have been nice to see “Richie Sambora” play a real note instead of tickling the strings on his guitar…. Sorry guys but very much a parody
I do not agree sorry .. The Guitarist is awesome , don’t know what you was listening to ?
I am reading Tony sing’s too low , wrong again , he sing’s as good as Jon Bon Joviif not better .
Being a Bon Jovi fan & seeing them in June 2013 , I was surprised to hear Jon cant sing some song’s because he cant hit the notes , Tony CAN hit the notes.
Sorry my opinion .Jon cant sing In These Arm’s … Tony smashed it .
My dad being American & from NY , I agree with the accent issues ,Tony tries to put on the NJ accent , sorry he need’s to drop it .
We’ve just been too see them at Newark and they was fab. getting ppl too join is a art and he had it bang on the gurarist was great I could listen too him play more and too say he learnt how too do that himself well done . Don’t forget too come back too little old Newark
